Lunch Bunch
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, we are puasing on this service and considering offering one on one support beginning August. Please call Mary Ann at 707-462-4343 x121 for more info.
The Lunch Bunch provides a welcoming and structured environment for seniors with dementia or Alzheimer’s to gather among peers. Transportation to and from the program, lunch, games, light exercise and entertainment are provided.
Caregivers tending to the 24/7 care of a loved one will find this an invaluable service. We provide a safe, friendly place for loved ones to feel connected, develop a routine and re-gain purpose in life. It is a family atmosphere which the seniors look forward to attending and truly enjoy the familiarity of other participants, as well as the caring staff. Equally as important, is the respite received by the main caregiver. Many have stated that this program has given them the help they needed in order to keep mom/dad or spouse in their care. Without some “me time”, caregivers often develop serious illnesses due to the unending demands of being on call.
