Square Dancing

Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

This is a small group of 12 – 16 dedicated square dancers. The caller, Lawrence Johnstone, instructs the class on modern square dance techniques of about 98 calls. The music is fun and is especially produced for this type of dance.

Beginners and drop-ins are welcome but patience is a virtue; it can take six to eight months of commitment to learn the dances.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Once established, many find the fun of this activity is getting dressed for the event. The outfits among couples are lively and fun!
